OUR AWARDS RECOGNISE TALENT AND ARE JUDGED ON MERIT ALONE. CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICERS ARE ENTERED INTO THE PROCESS EITHER THROUGH SELF-ENTRY OR BY A THIRD PARTY NOMINATION.

After completing the entry form, the Chief Financial Officers will be invited to take part a short interview with a panel of representatives from our partner organisations. The shortlisted finalists and individual category winners will be selected by our independent judging panel. To enter the awards, nominees must meet the following criteria:

The CFO will have been in post for at least one year by May 2026

The term “Chief Financial Officer” is the person with overall responsibility for the financial welfare of the business and not title specific

The business must have its registered head office or autonomous UK subsidiary of an overseas parent in Scotland. If the HQ is outside of Scotland, the business must be commonly/widely known as a Scottish business, have a Scottish based CFO/FD and be able to demonstrate that the vast majority of their operations and finance function operated within Scotland.
